Turtles laying eggs on the tip of borneo has traditionally been taken away by local fisherman and sold at the market. Since we had started the resort we have discouraged the fisherman and educated them that turtles should be let to go back to the wild. We announced a program to buy back any turtle eggs if they are harvested and to pay extra if they are left untouched.

Hey we are worried as the turtles have not hatched yet !! Maybe its been dug up and returned to the hole which is not the right level that the mother turtle dug. Any turtle experts out there can advice us.
